Fantastic! Fast delivery. Beautiful board and pieces. As described. Sturdy. Assembly takes two seconds. My only complaint is that there is no lacquer finish on the board or stand so you or whoever playing the game could get a splinter if you touch the sides which could be problematic if you want to keep guests happy. Im not sure if the wax would provide enough to prevent splinters. The board is sanded down though. But I suppose a professional finish would drive the cost way up. The pieces do have a layer of lacquer so that is great. Either way I'm very happy with this set and I highly recomm

The board is beautiful, excellent craftsmanship and is soft to the touch, it also came with wax for the board which is an awesome touch, it’s heavy solid wood and looks incredible, the engraving came out perfect. My only complaint is that the pieces are very light weight and have a glossy finish but the gloss was very patchy so parts were shiny snd parts were raw wood and the shine is kind of sticky so I’m not really impressed with the actual chess pieces but the board is 100% worth the money, even if it didn’t come with pieces it’s well worth the cost all by itself so I’m not too disappointed
